Promos On-Time
This May (5-9) marks our nation's annual hommage to teachers and school staff members. If you are a superintendent, administrator, principal or PTA/PTO parent group leader, this is your hint to put together a special recognition event for these professionals who do so much for the children in your community.
Kick off Teacher Appreciation Week with a special breakfast and serve bagels, juice and coffee. Hand out lapel pins for every school staff member to wear as a symbol of their pride in teaching.
Leave special gifts on teacher's desks or in their mailboxes such as coffee mugs, high-end writing instruments and desk accessories with your school's name and a message of appreciation imprinted on it.
Finish off the week with a luncheon or ice cream social and give out special gifts like USB memory drives or an attractive brief case or tote bag.
Your generosity during Teacher Appreciation Week will go a long way to letting your staff know that their efforts are recognized and admired.
